Zarah grows up in a world where dancing is forbidden and gunfire is a constant reminder of war. During my Master study in UdK Berlin I started my research topic “the combination of illustration and experimental media”, and carried this topic on to my Meister study for one year. As my graduation project I presented this interactive audiovisual animation performance together with a new media and sound artist Xiaolu Yu.

The protagonist is a sex-slave. It throws light on some dark sides of human lives. It is a study of darker sides of characters of a boss, a caretaker, a customer and a victim. They are individuals representing universal greed, lust, sadism, voyeurism and despondence. The room in the movie itself is a character in the movie.

Alone in space, an astronaut drifts alone through the empty void. After finding another astronaut in the same predicament, she gives him a polaroid image of the Earth. They then team up to go on an epic journey across the universe to return to their planet. Will these star-crossed lovers find home?
The Firmest Friend
In August of 2014, filmmaker Andrew Fixell ventured to New York City's Tompkins Square Park & interviewed homeless individuals to discuss their lifestyle and their connections with the pit bulls they travel with. What he learned was the bond these people shared with their four-legged friends stretch far beyond master and dog.
